Changing Rooms?
Although the Rez-Life Team does its best to promote cooperation and communication among roommates, we understand that occasionally, a room change can lead to positive result for certain students.
Mediation

Before requesting a room change, speak to your Community Advisor.
The CA's List
- If your request is due to a roommate conflict, your CA will offer to mediate the problem. Room change requests will not be approved if efforts have not been made to resolve the issues through mediation.
Room Change Request
- Once the mediation is conducted, your CA may recommend, if appropriate, that you request a room change, using this form. Y
- Your request will be forwarded to the Rez Life Assistant Manager for your building who will speak with your CA and assess your case.
- This done, it’ll be up to the Assistant Manager to approve the request. Understand that room changes are not always approved. Even if it is approved, the change will be based on availability of rooms, so you may not end up where you’d like. Prepare yourself for this possibility and work on alternatives to a room change.
