Make Your Room Your Own
Now that you’ve got all your stuff crammed in your room, what do you do with your space?
Step 1: Check with your room-mate(s)!
We can’t stress this enough! If you share a room or a common area, remember that it is SHARED. Talk with your room-mate(s) to discuss tastes and style.
Step 2: Rearrange the furniture
Please feel free to rearrange any furniture in your room; just don’t take it out of the room! We also ask you to please put the furniture back where it was when you move out at the end of your stay with us.
Step 3: Posters and decorations
Feel free to bring any non-offensive posters, pictures or decorations that you’d like. Discuss decoration matters with your roommates before spiffing up shared spaces. Use sticky tack, not tacks or nails. No one likes holes in the walls. For all other decorations (special events or celebrations), check with your CA. For instance, real Christmas trees and garlands are NOT allowed. You must use fake ones.
Step 4: Animals and plants
Pets are NOT allowed in Rez for health and cleanliness reasons. This includes goldfish and iguanas!
